联盟每年为球迷举办数百场基层篮球活动、社区活动, 并与多家本地及国际企业建立市场合作伙伴关系。NBA的特许产品如服装和鞋类产品可以通过各种零售渠道、网络电商及社交媒体平台有售。随着2015年国际系列赛的举行，联盟在中国已举办了20场职业篮球比赛。

NBA China Internship Program 2017

Program Overview

At NBA China, the Internship Program is not only an opportunity for us to identify future talents, but also a meaningful experience for these young talents to learn and grow here at an early stage. In this 8 Weeks (July 3 – August 25) summer program, interns will have the opportunity to participate in a series of events and activities that provide exposure to the varied facets of the NBA business. We offer internship opportunities in all of our business areas.

Professional Development

The Intern program provides participants with opportunities attending selected training programs, events, and activities designed to broaden their knowledge of the NBA China business and improve their exposure to senior executives as well. One of the highlights of the program is the Intern Think Tank Project, which is an opportunity for Interns to work in groups on an NBA-specific business issue throughout the course of the program. Interns work on the project under the guidance of an NBA employee, culminating in a final presentation to NBA China executives.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for the Intern Program, students must be either (a) registered in a fulltime undergraduate college or university and at the 3rd year to graduate in 2018 OR (b) graduate students (typically MBA) between their first and second year. Interns must be able to work full time hours, Monday through Friday, exactly from July 3 to August 25, 2017. All students must have a legal right to live and work in China, in good academic standing and have basic computer skills as well as acceptable written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Working as an Intern

All interns should strictly abide by the NBA’s Code of Conduct, Legal Compliance Policy, as well as the policy of Intellectual Property & Confidentiality. Interns must be punctual for work and observe normal working hours.

Evaluation

The supervisor/manager may be required to provide comments / evaluation on the interns’ work performance and future potential at the end of the internship. Human Resource department will issue an Internship Certificate to interns according to the feedback from their supervisors.

NBA China Associate Program 2017-2019

Program Overview

The NBAC Associate Program is an immersion-based development experience that focuses on the culture, structure and operations of the NBA, and is designed to produce outstanding NBA professionals. The program rotates exceptional, recent college graduates through work assignments in departments across the NBA China. Associates learn the business of sports through direct exposure, launching their careers in an organization that strives to be the world’s most successful and respected sports league.

Position Introduction

Associates rotate through areas of the business, typically in six month work assignments, assisting with high priority projects and global initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic priorities. Assignment areas may include:

- Global Partnerships

- Content Development

- Business Affairs

- Marketing

- Digital/Interactive

- Global Strategy

- Basketball Operations

- Events

At the conclusion of the rotational program, each Associate joins a department as a full time employee. Placements are based on the NBAC’s business needs, with consideration of the graduating Associates’ accumulated experience, career goals and performance during the rotational program.

Candidate Requirements

Required Experience & Knowledge: Candidates must be in excellent academic standing and have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese. Additionally, candidates should possess demonstrable leadership skills through relevant extracurricular activities, along with meaningful, business-related internship or other experience. Educational Background Required: Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, anticipate graduation in the spring of 2017(or early December 2016 graduates will also be considered.)

Professional Development

The Associate program includes a robust curriculum of professional development activities. The program tips off with an in-depth orientation that builds the foundational skills required for success in the workplace. Throughout the year, Associates receive additional training to grow high-value professional skills such as relationship building, business writing and presentation skills. Associates complete several self-assessments (DiSC, Emotional Intelligence) and receive strategic coaching that identifies strengths and areas for development.

Associates’ exposure to the business of basketball includes attendance at a variety of NBA events, participation in our business review process, global experiences, and participation in discussion forums with executives from a variety of departments.
